Ibuki

Ibuki is a character in the Street Fighter series. She first appeared in Street Fighter III.

Ibuki lives in a village composed entirely of Ninja. She has been trained from childhood, but resents her lot in life. Ibuki has a pet tanuki named Don. In Super Street Fighter IV, she sneaks away from her clan's training to compete in a martial arts tournament, in order to meet "cool and handsome guys". Later in 2nd Impact, Ibuki was sent by her clan to procure documents from Gill's organization. These documents concerned the "G-File" project, which was responsible for creating Necro and Twelve. Gill voluntarily gave Ibuki the documents, though the project was already under way by that point. In 3rd Strike, Ibuki tracks down Oro to fight him for her ninja graduation exam. She fights well enough to pass, and moves on to go to a university. While there, she joins a club which, to her dismay, turns out to be based on ninja training.

Ibuki uses ninjutsu in fight. She throws kunais at her opponet, uses crazy kicks or ninja dashes. Her most notable Super Art is Yoroitoshi.

Ibuki starts with a energy-ball explosion and then hits the enemy's stomach while charging energy. She then discharges and trespasses this energy to her elbow, which then passes through the enemy and creates a more powerful spherical energy-ball.

Ibuki is a beautiful young girl from Japan raised in a hidden ninja village and trained in the deadly arts of ninjutsu. She is slim and athletic, her black hair held tightly back in a topknot that drops behind her well beneath her waist. Unlike most other female ninja or kunoichi in video games or anime, Ibuki's outfit is a more traditional type of ninja dogi, consisting of a sleeveless upper garment, baggy pants, arm guards and a mask that conceals the lower half of her face. Her footwear consists only of cloth bandages wrapped around her shins, ankles and instep. While she is a trained assassin, she also shows a "Valley girl"-ish side, stating that she finds her ninja clothes ugly and her daily training strange, and jumping back into her civilian clothing as soon as she wins a bout.

She is voiced by Yuri Amano in all three versions of the Street Fighter III, and will be voiced by Ayumi Fujimura in Super Street Fighter 4.

Chun-Li

Chun-Li is a character from the Street Fighter series, and the first female playable character to appear in a fighting game. She first appeared in Street Fighter 2.

Chun-Li was born in March 1, 1968, in China. She was an Interpol investigator who had been searching for clues about the mysterious disappear of her father. She learned that he was killed by M. Bison, leader of the mysterious crime syndicate, Shadaloo. She swore vengeance. Chun-Li chased Bison in all tournaments, he had held, usually working with Guile and Cammy. When he was finally dead, she started to train young orphans in martial arts.

Chun-Li uses Chinese martial arts in battle. Her special moves are mostly concentrated about kicks. Her signature move is the HyakuretsuKyaku, commonly known as the Lightning Kicks, in which she repeatedly kicks her opponent from a standing position. Her other primary attack is Spinning Bird Kick. Chun-Li will jump up, feet first in the air, and do a split. She will then twirl her upside down body and attack with her legs like helicopter blades. Chun-Li's trademark projectile is Kikoken. Her most famous Super Attack is Kikosho.

By gather chi in her hands, Chun-Li will release a big ball of energy.

Chun-Li's hairstyle is called "ox horns", a typical style in which Chinese children dress their hair. She wears the qipao. Her outfit is modified to allow a far wider range of movement than a normal qipao. She also wears white combat boots and blue leotard with dark brown sheer pantyhose with her qipao. Her qipao is blue with golden accents.

Chun-Li is portrayed by Ming-Na alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in the live action movie, released in 1994. After being captured by M. Bison, she is dressed in a red qipao. Ming Na played a reporter in this movie, instead of an Interpol agent. In the 2009 film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, she is portrayed by Kristin Kreuk.
